Yep, we have had this discussion ad nauseum (and I know you agree with me), but contrary to popular belief, there are lots of UT fans in general in Memphis, especially in the suburbs. I went out to several retail stores the day after our bowl game and saw 3-4 UT shirts/hats in an hour period. Have seen more since. The last few years have just suppressed/depressed people, and we weren't talked about. Times are changing...and soon.

As many of us already know, Richmond is taking an official this weekend. It seems as if TN has made up quite a bit of ground since he committed to Ole Missy. OM has to be sweating Butch's arrival. I really think he chooses the Vols on NSD. This class is brewing a perfect storm. What does the rest of Volnation think? GBO!

Man....how dare you hold a gun to my head and cause me to comment on a thread that obviously only belongs in the recruiting forum! If I had free will I could have just ignored it and let those interested comment.

Seriously though.....got my fingers crossed for Richmond, if only to keep the dominance in recruiting rolling.

The d line is solid for the next couple years. Got two stud rbs and a pretty good QB. Now we need studs on the O line to make a serious run. He who controls the trenches wins, look at Ohio st vs Oregon. Cute offense works until a team can just line up and shove the rock down your throat. We need Richmond and Allen!

Well one of us will be right. I said a long time ago he would not sign with the Vols. I have heard nothing that makes me want to change that. To be clear I am not an insider, My opinions are based entirely out of my somewhat challenged aging brain, after I read various ( some uniformed ) sources. And you are certainly welcome to check my stats. I am quite sure I am in the top 90 percentile. Hope I am wrong on him.

This kid has the size and athleticism to be a lock down a tackle for 2-3 years. We sure could use someone who could do that. I believe he wants to come to Tennessee, but outside pressure has its influence. If he recruited for OM, all will be forgotten when he pancakes D Linemen and keeps our QBs clean for the next few years. We will be "hossed up" on the OL like we are on the new DL if we can get Richmond and Allen on NSD.

Agree but we have THREE stud RBs because I think Bussey coming with his Dad this weekend locks it up... that kid is gonna mow people over...

Quick note on Drew Richmond...

I just traded some texts with him and he confirmed with me that he will be in Knoxville this weekend. He told me he will be at Tennessee 'all weekend' when I asked about the possibility of him visiting Alabama this weekend as well.

Butch Jones is supposed to be with him tomorrow and Freeze has already had his in-home visit.

I'll add this; it's only Tuesday night and I've heard that Nick Saban could be at the school as well tomorrow. Also, can't rule out him taking a visit after signing day as he mentioned on Sunday it was still a possibility.
