It's what Ole Miss did. Rush 4 and set two safeties at about ten yards with zone or man underneath. Then throw a stunt or cb blitz off the edge. It's gonna be so nice next year, and even more the next.

KM and Tuttle have to be major factors in KPs decision. When you see someone destroying peers who are about to be D1 elite, then you know you are about to have 1x1 matchups for the next 3-4 years. That's a good ticket to a nice draft position, and that's an endgame someone like Phillips will look at.

so from my last question to the last post in this thread this kid is mad that we slow played him and he his recruiting against us to make us look silly..or am i wrong...trying to figure out this one..!! also(..................) to those who hate the ................(very confused on this one)

Tennessee offered Shareef Miller (SDE) from PA on Sunday...I think that tells us all we need to know here.

When did we slow play Phillips. He has had a committable offer the entire time.

Definitely looks like it is leaning that way. Hopefully Phillips surprises us all but I almost think it looks like we're third in a three team race right now.

If he truly does not know where he wants to go at this point, I think a few days next to McKenzie, with him in his ear, HAS to help out for Tennessee

Just saw the drama I missed out on. :eek:lol:

We just seem to invent drama when there is very little surrounding the program, at least relative to the past several years.

Phillips has never been just enamored with UT. I think he is simply looking for the best situation for him to be the best player. Seeing what Ole Miss has done with that Dline, what Chavis has always done on the defensive side of the ball, and what Stripling is doing now at UT, Phillips will land in a good situation no matter where he goes.

Lot of rumors still flying about Chavis to Texas A@M to be their defensive coordinator. Its been rumored that alot of big money people at LSU aren't necessarily happy with Chavis or Miles either. And Chavis has yet to sign his new deal with LSU. Until Texas A@M hires a new def coordinator there is smoke out there!!

Pretty sure chavis just signed a big extension.

I know he has agreed in principle or there is a handshake deal but it hasn't been signed and there are some issues about the deal he wants resolved. So there is still smoke out there about Chavis and Texas A@M.

And it seems odd that Texas A@M hasn't hired a new def coordinator yet. They are waiting on something or someone. Until they hire a new def coordinator these rumors won't be put to rest.

With the way the recruitments of Phillips and Amadi have gone, I won't be surprised to see both of them go to Ole Miss. With how they are staging everything, it seems they want to really shock the world. What better way than to announce Ole Miss after Ugo decommitted and eliminated them.

I have no knowledge of this situation, but it sure would suck if Buck were pushing these kids to LSU because he was mad we didn't jump on Amadi the first time around.

As bad as this looks, it's absolutely nothing compared to how dirty AAU/HS BB recruiting is.
