That is certainly interesting that he hasn't signed that extension yet. I would definitely be looking at that if I were Phillips and Chavis was a big reason why I was going to LSU.

I think Kyle just genuinely doesn't want to play at UT. Which all this Chavis talk had Ole Miss coming from nowhere after he said it was between UT/LSU

Scholars up here wanted Chavis gone too. A little 3rd and Chavis would have been nice, since he has been gone, and he is Tennessee through and through. He never would have left.

That automatically means they're being encouraged to leave?

We know for a fact that Scott, Helm and Hendrix weren't asked to leave and nor did they leave over PT.

Maybe Miller didn't either. We may never know.

Pretty sure all three of them left because of lack of PT.

I would love to see Kyle in Orange, but if he doesn't want to be a Vol then I don't want him at UT.

I hope he changes his mind as h would bee a huge addition to this class!

Guess you didn't read Hendrix's interview upon leaving where he said it had nothing to do with PT.

Or the rumors that Scott was upset with Butch about the circle of life drill and homesick and is now transferring to ECU which is 45 min from his hometown. Which kind of validates those rumors. Scott was out hurt 75% of the year doubt he has a reason to be upset with PT.

Helm didn't adjust to the college atmosphere after being homeschooled, that was mentioned by VQ or 247 guys. So none

If they really were a package deal they should have committed at the same time.

Not saying Phillips will not go to LSU but I don't see why he would just let Amadi steal his moment by committing first if they were going together for sure.

I would love it if we got Philips but if we don't, let's just go get Walker. When/if that happens, the sting from not getting Philips will be a whole lot less.

Amadi says he is trying to convince defensive end Kyle Phillips of Nashville-Hillsboro to join him in Baton Rouge as well as his former teammate cornerback Justin Martin who is at NE Oklahoma A&M Junior College.

"I am going to do my best to recruit them but you know there is so much i can do," he said
