Either way he is going to have to bring it to play. You won't start in a Chavis defense unless you're the real deal especially with the recruiting base LSU has. Likewise UT is sealing in some elite prospects on the Dline and has one of the best Dline coaches in the business. I'd love to add Phillips and I think it's probably in his best interest to be at UT longterm BUT really the kid is going to land in a good situation at either school. That said competition is going to be fierce in either spot for him to start.
