'15 TN DB Rico McGraw

This is all about about Pruitt here. Rico was considered a strong lean at 1st with UA, but when Pruitt left we had not heard much from him. Not even sure he visited UA this past fall. But Byron De'Vinner was also involved with Pruitt and RM so he can hang out with CMR and staff now.

If De'Vinner is still involved with this kid, Georgia can have him. Don't want any part of that guy with our program.

Anybody associated with BD, I would be leary of.

HOW DARE YOU!!!! Don't you know that Ga. is the Golden ticket that all recruits are waiting for. I hear all our EE's are checking in with Ga. now about getting a transfer there.

Who cares if he wants to play for a certain coach, sign him up. I would commit to the school, but that's me, and not just the coach, but how are you so sure that he committed only because the coach.

We just have to make sure he stays away from Mr. Al-betar now, or whatever his name is.

Pruitt recruiting him hard to UA has interest. Pruitt goes to FSU still interested in UA and in top 5 which UGA is not. In video from July on VQ he talks about UA, Miami, and guess who FSU who he really wants to visit now. Hmmm. Pruitt hired at UGA. Three days ago UGA offers and now he commits. But only because he wants to play for CMR and be a puppy.

I think I summed that up.:)

I could care less but it was your other puppy that was denying it had anything to do with Pruitt. Pruitt is one of the best recruiters out there but to assume Pruitt had nothing to do with it when UGA was not even mentioned in July and he talked about FSU for the first time with a lot of interest I would say Pruitt was the piece UGA needed. But again coaches are hired for their ability to recruit as well as coach on the field.

In regards to your weak attempt to take a dig, I guess getting a free suit at UA is not as attractive as DUIs, smoking pot, and every other thing CMR allows under his guidance. :hi:

Georgia fans, their media, etc live in a delusional bubble when it comes to the reality of player recruitments. It's all lollipops and rainbows and how kids are in awe of the great school in Athens. When in reality it's all about what coach builds a relationship with that player. Or in this case with the player's handler.

What exactly is the problem with that? Recruiting is mostly about relationships, no?

I just noticed that Rivals does not list a Georgia offer for Preston Williams. We should be very afraid IMO

Another thing that cracks me up is slack jawed Jawja fans providing a timeline link with no inside information to back their claim. Again another empty claim with nothing to back it. Doubt he will sign with UGA when NSD in 2015 roles around. Enjoy setting yourself up for a letdown, but you are probably use to that.

that last part cracked me up .. especially considering the source.

Listen, the facts are there but if you want to ignore them, I don't care. Some kids are fans of a particular school and when that offer comes in, it takes very little time to say yes. You should be familiar with that with Hurd. He was NEVER going anywhere but UT no matter how long and impressive the offer sheet was.

We also have players running around Athens stomping on students and robbing them for munchies money. You forgot that.

Free suits? Sure, I'll buy that.

Finally, rival fans getting into it with each other instead of other Vol fans. That's why Volnation is the best college football message board in the nation.

So you know more than he does? Hurd himself disputes you.

You could type in : popcorn : without the spaces. I never remember any of them though, but that is an easy one.

Honestly, this one of the best boards out there. Freak and the rest of the guys do a very good job. Many rival fans like myself would have been thrown out a long time ago on other teams boards.

We have 6 national titles and are 8th all time in wins. Georgia can't hold Tennessee's jock strap when it comes to tradition and relevance of a football program. Yeah, we have had a rough 6 years, but anyone with a functional brain knows these thing go in cycles. Not to mention with our facilities, young hungry coaches, and a stadium that seats 100+K, I'd say the odds are in our favor that UT will be back sooner rather than later.

And what in the timeline backs the assertion that it was solely an offer from Georgia that caused Rico to commit? That's just lazy research. Like I continue to say, good luck keeping this kid for 13 months especially with Byron De'Vinner involved.
