'15 TN DB Rico McGraw

Ga was never a top school for him. This is all about Pruitt, if Pruitt was here then McGraw would be at Tennessee as well.

This has nothing to do with Pruitt. I have known Rico and his family personally for a while. They kept his recruitment quiet as I thought he was Bama all along. He has wanted the offer from UGA for a long time he just never told me, or anyone outside their family, they were the favorite.

He was never coming to Tennessee.

Meh not a huge loss, UGA can have him. With the DB class we have in '14 and the class we'll have in '15, not worried at all. (didn't want him anyway)

You've been right about the bolded all along. Here's the sad thing: you can guarantee that many media outlets out there are going to make this look like a UT recruiting failure.

He always had a top school though, they just hadn't offered yet.

This is why UGA fans crack me up. They couldn't be more wrong about a topic, but they beat their chest as if it is fact. We'll see in the next 13 months if this one sticks.

Not losing hope on this one. 13 months to go and a payback game against UGA. Lets go Rico.

We get that all the time from our local media, rival fans, and some of our dumb fans. Can't sign everybody.

If he were going for Pruitt, this would make sense, but he is going because the UGA offer was the one he was waiting on. A dead guy could have recruited him to UGA and he would have committed.

Thanks for dropping in, Rico. Good luck, except when you play our Vols!

keep thinking that but keep in mind that FSU offered a while back and he had no interest .. this was about the UGA offer.

Really? FSU offered back in March .. PRETTY sure Pruitt was there and pretty sure if this was all about Pruitt he would have committed sometime between then and now to FSU. This is why you crack me up because research isn't that difficult.

We don't care. If he wants to go to UGA, he can watch all of our receivers stroll past him on the way to the endzone.

This time last year....neither was J. Hurd. Not saying we flip him and he probably does stick with UGA, but it is apparent that CBJ has never met a recruiting challenge that scared him.

charles power said he was told that after we offered yesterday (UGA) that it was overwith for him. That we were the offer he was hoping to get. Jeremy Pruitt's relationship was of course big as well.

Only time will tell.

True enough man, true enough. Two years ago, the Dawgs did ok keeping their early commits with Derrick Henry (oh how we could have used him this year) being the only defector. This year has been the exception with more than a few taking off. Some we were ok with like Nick Glass for instance but others like Dontavious Russell who really only committed middle of last year kinda stung. Demarre Kitt as well but he wanted to play with Watson so couldn't help him there.

So a bit off topic, with goofy Franklin gone, has UT started trying to pillage some of the Vandy recruits?

Good luck Rico! Plenty of time for Butch to get another DB for 2015, maybe even from Georgia. We have a great history with DBs from Georgia!

Another thing that cracks me up is slack jawed Jawja fans providing a timeline link with no inside information to back their claim. Again another empty claim with nothing to back it. Doubt he will sign with UGA when NSD in 2015 roles around. Enjoy setting yourself up for a letdown, but you are probably use to that.

This is all about about Pruitt here. Rico was considered a strong lean at 1st with UA, but when Pruitt left we had not heard much from him. Not even sure he visited UA this past fall. But Byron De'Vinner was also involved with Pruitt and RM so he can hang out with CMR and staff now.
