'15 NC RB Rocky Reid (Wake Forest commit)

Reid also did a lot of work in the weight room, adding 15 pounds of muscle. The 6-foot, 222-pound Reid said he is bigger, stronger and faster.

“Everything that we’ve accomplished together just makes me want to work harder and get better,” said Reid, who runs a 4.6-second 40-yard dash and can bench 275 pounds. “I think it about every time I take the practice field, every time I’m in the weight room and even when I’m just sitting around bored. You always have to be getting better.

Cherry vs Rocko would be a intense battle

Huge game over here. just a great, heated rivalry for decades and decades. has always been last game of year but last year brown went up to 4a

He will end up a 4* and top250 overall.
The kid puts up monsters stats against good competition. At least I've been told its good competition, don't know much about NC high school football.
Really hope we hold on to him, perfect RB to compliment the other guys that will be on campus. Besides Hurd, Rocky would be the only true powerback. That power with his above average speed is exciting to see what he could do. His vision is really nice, I think Paulk has excellent vision, probably the best of the group.

But I do NOT want to lose Rock's commitment, really believe he can do big things in the SEC.

I definitely agree he will be a great compliment to the other guys we have on campus and committed. I remember even not long ago we had Houston, Riggs, Tinsley and Davis. Houston and Riggs busting out the long runs then bring Jabari in when we needed a tough yard or very often he was used on the goal line. Will be nice to finally have options and a diverse group that will compliment each other well.

Would take a Marion Barber type runner all day. He didn't last long because of his style but was an absolute wrecking machine.

Just out of curiosity, does this kid play both sides of the ball? Might be an unpopular point to make, but some of UT's best LBs came here as RBs. Just curious if he currently plays any LB?

Gurley is NOT a one in a million type RB! Hershel Walker and a hand full of others can be called that.

We have RBs like Gurley every year in college.
