From spydersoldier on 247...(he met CBJ and others at QD's game tonight)...

"On another note, he said that he will be in nashville tomorrow and then to north carolina to see Shy Tuttle. I told him we need and have to get Shy Tuttle. Butch said "we will, i promise you that!" Early BOOMAGE!!!! One of the better days of my life."

Sounds like a pretty solid poster over there..

Not to piss in anyone's Cheerios, but I find it unlikely that a man as obsessively measured with his words as Jones would just casually break NCAA rules concerning the public mention of PSAs for some random fan at a game.

Maybe he would, I dunno. But I doubt it.

He's right about one thing, though. We are getting Shy Tuttle. V,B

Understand what you are saying, but Butch didn't mention him. The guy made a comment that we have to land him...Butch said we will. Never mentioned Shy by name. No rules broken.

No rules broken. The guy posted pictures of him and CBJ and even Bajakian and some other poster. He's stationed in TX. I believe him. You don't have to.

Cheerios are nasty anyway.

Somebody asked him about a recruit at a Big Orange Caravan stop once and he gave them the party line on it ("can't comment on a PSA", etc).

But they might have a good point about him not actually mentioning ST by name. That's probably stretching the rule a bit, but still technically compliant.
