'15 NC DT Shy Tuttle (UT commit 9/26/14)

The guys you mention battling for the final starting slot could easily be better than many teams' entire starting secondary!

I can't wait to see Gaulden lay some lumber. Apparently he is one of the hardest hitting defenders in quite some time!!

Every time I think of a hard hitting DB, my mind instantly wants to compare their hits to the slobber-knocker Eric Berry put on Knowshon Moreno. That's one of my all-time favorite defensive plays.

Where is Cortez McDowell going to be playing at?

SS or LB

Marquis Maze agrees that Eric Berry can lay the wood!!!

Any news here? The silence is deafening. As a 5* with 4 visits, there's no way Tuttle's thread should fall into the second page.

Looking at 247, he visited/attended camps at UNC a bunch in 2012 and 2013, but since June of last year he's visited UT the same amount of times he has the Tarheels. Yet no love for Vols from analysts w/ 84% CBs to UNC and 16% to Clemson.

Also, 247 (assuming it's up to date other than his most recent visit) shows his last visit to any school was March 29, 2014 to UT. With his latest visit, we're the only school he has visited in nearly 3 months... before this quiet stretch he rarely went more than a month without visiting different schools.

I like the trend. But why no Vol talk from analysts??

Tuttle said he already has decided that he will “probably take an official” visit to Tennessee later this year.

“I mean, I like them,” he said. “I’ve always liked Tennessee.

He tweets almost nothing about any school or his recruitment. All things being equal, I'd say we are in good shape.

Wow. Shurburtt said yesterday that he expected him to commit to UNC soon. That would be awesome if he's on campus again this soon after a visit.
