My 2016 lineup. If I forgot somebody, blame it on the fireball, makers mark and mich ultra.

QB - Peterman
RB - Hurd, Kamara, Scott
WR - North, Smith, Williams, Malone
TE - Wolf
LT - Thomas
LG - Sanders
C - Weisman
RG - Robertson
RT - Jones

DE - Vereen
DE - Barnett, Hendrix
DT - McKenzie
DT - OBrien, Tuttle
LB - Maybin, McDowell
LB - Bryant
LB - Bates
CB - Sutton
CB - Moseley
FS - Evan Berry
SS - TK2

Playing all these freshmen is going to pay off so much in 2016.

Potential starting lineup on O and D:

QB: Dobbs
WR: Williams
WR: Malone
WR: Smith
TE: Wolf
OL: Thomas
OL: Blair (if he redshirts this year)
OL: Robertson
OL: Sanders
OL: Wiesman, Jones
RB: Hurd, Kamara

DE: Barnett, Butcher
DT: McKenzie
DT: Tuttle
DE: Hendrix, Vereen
LB: Bates
LB: Reeves-Maybin
LB: Cherry
CB: Sutton
CB: Moseley
SS: Kelly Jr.
FS: McDowell (?)

And we'll have quality depth behind all those positions.
You don't think dormady or peterman beats him out?

Key word being now. 2013 me could've said Devrin Young plays WR now or Jordan Williams plays DE now.

Sutton is 3 and done IMO. Probably a mid first round pick to early second round pick

Our S's are interchangeable, but typically your best S plays FS. TK will be that in 2016. JMO

If Sutton and North stay for their Sr years I'll be shocked. I wouldn't mind this lineup. Not sure where Bryant will stand in 2016, also Williams will start at CB IMO. The rest seems legit to me

Good. Need a RB, OL, and CB to finish this class out.

I'll take a flip from the Frasier kid from NC, a flip from Richmond, and a side order of the juco kid Martin at CB. If you're all out of Richmond flips I'll take a Sweet or Allen flip instead.

To go, please and thank you.

Edit: Swansoned by Voldango. One of these days I will actually read all the new posts before commenting. Maybe.

Blair isn't good. He won't play.. May not even be here

I believe north will stay for 4 unless next year he goes clean off. And without a proven quarterback or O-line, it seems like a tough task. North bleeds orange, I just doubt he goes after his junior year

Not with Danny O'Brien who will be a 2 year incumbent starter on the DL. Just my assumption though
I don't see how he and K-Mac aren't in the 2-deep. It's good that O'Brien and the two Williams' are holding it down in the mean time. But, when you can recruit 2 behemoth's at DT, you got to believe Janzek and coach Strip are itching to get them on the field ASAP.

If Tuttle does indeed join K-Mac, I think it allows the team to move Mosley to OG, where he would be a true road-grader.

by 2017 when McKenzie and Tuttle are fully developed it will be impossible to run up the gut on us.

Both will command a double team, leaving a single tackle and tight end to block both ends.

I envision offenses having to completely change their offensive philosophies when facing us in the future because of these two behemoths
Sometimes we overestimate the impact blue chip recruits will have, but when you look at how much just two 5* DL's had at S.Carolina (Clowney and Quarles), and UF (Powell, Shariff Floyd), recently...it's not so far fetched. I think KMac and Tuttle playing next to each other will have a MAJOR impact.

For one thing, their abiliity to crush the pocket up the middle makes a DE's job easier...because the QB cannot step up in the pocket. Sack totals will double, if not more...wait and see.

They will make a huge impact. The key will be to utilize all these outside weapons at OLB and DE and put them in places to provide quality pass rush. I'm very pleased with our defensive direction. I've been more critical on this board of Coach Jancek than anyone else I've seen. I believe it's time to lock our entire defensive staff down. We need to pay all of them what they want and keep this group together. I see something very special coming defensive wise at UT, and it's coming really soon.

Still, there are some concerns going forward. First, who's replacing AJ? Will it be MLB by committee, or is Cherry/Bryant going to take it over? Second, as good as we have recruited, we still need to find some more lock down corners so that we can man up and blitz when need be, paging Justin Martin...You can't effectively blitz if you can't man up on the outside, which forces you to have to zone blitz which is less effective IMO. Third, can we continue to find guys like Weatherd, Joe Henderson (when he's ready), and Maggit who can play standing up and down on the ground? Maggit, Weatherd, and Veeren on the field together is plan nasty. Unfourtantly, come 2016 when we are going to start really peaking as a team, neither Weatherd nor Maggit will be here :cray: It's important to replace these guys with players who have similar skill sets because they are vital in this defensive scheme. Like I said, Joe Henderson will be a very athletic pass rusher in due time, Ford is pretty athletic for this 2015 class, and he seams to be someone we can stand up on the line of scrimmage and pass rush. Past that, we don't have anymore SLB/WDE candidates. We need to continue to pursue this area of great need come 2016. I expect to see at the very least 3 LB prospects commit for 2016 and possibly more depending on the final results of this years class. Finally, we need to keep pressing. We cant have anymore slip ups in recruiting. CBJ and staff have built this great foundation, but that's not enough. We have to continue to build upon the foundation laid. As CBJ says, "Brick by Brick"
