'15 MD OT Pat Allen

Denali = huge park in Alaska

Not as funny if I have to explain it. ;)

It's ok jave. It's late.

And we won. So I am in a forgiving mood

Oh gosh, my slysdexia kicked in, I've seen that Denial meme so many times.

There were two levels of verbal misdirection in that one. I wasn't quite tall enough to keep that one from going over my head. Well done once again.

Post on VQ says that a UGA 247 mod expects Pat to flip to Tennessee on Sunday.

Assuming we get this guy my next concern is safety. Gaulden is too small, Griffin figures to be a LB, Jennings is set on QB and may transfer if told otherwise, Randolph and McNeil are obviously gone after 2015, so who starts opposite TK in 2016, assuming he too doesn't catch LB cancer?

I think that would be Evan Berry in the second safety spot. Also LB cancer is a poor choice of words considering it is a Berry that will take that safety spot.

Griffin, Evan, L. Johnson, TKJR, and possibly Ell. Berry can all play S. No worries. Relax man. This is the best the Vols have done in recruiting/bowl game in about 8 years. Enjoy it.

Where did you hear this about Griffin? I believe he is a safety all thy way. The staff loves his length. Gaulden will be fine--he wasn't an early enrollee. You will see a difference next year in his frame I bet.

Evan Berry and TK jr will be a very good safety combo. Griffin and Swafford should give us a little depth. Abernathy and Gaulden probably have the versatility to play there if we really need them to. I also think we are going to have a HUGE year recruiting DBs in the '16 class. Long story short, not worried about the safety position.

There are NFL safeties who are smaller than Gaulden.

On top of what everyone else has noted (namely evan berry) don't forget that Nigel Warrior and JoeJuan Williams could very well be in the 2016 class. Both are guys that can compete for playing time immediately.

Don't think Jennings transfers. Doubt he ever plays QB at TN and has a possible NFL future at safety. He would be crazy to not swap positions.

Gauldin is 6-1, 173. He is light right now, but he is still a youngun. He will gain a lot more weight after s&c to match the height.
