If cherry truly ran a 5.1 that would put him at the speed of your avg offensive lineman, which he most certainly is not. He big. He fast. He bad.

Wish he was coming in, in this class. Can't wait to watch this guy knock some heads off. Hopefully he stays all vol. Seems to be repping pretty good so far

This is the type of hard nosed linebacker that we've been missing for a WHILE.....His services are gonna be sought after by a bunch of teams. Man, I hope we can keep him. His highlights remind me a lot of this bada$$ backer.

"Frostproof (FL) linebacker Cecil Cherry, a Tennessee commit, just called.
He said Auburn, South Florida, Kentucky, Ohio State and Louisville stopped by his school to see him and 2016 QB Xavier Gaines in January.

Cherry said Florida State, South Carolina and Ohio State are pushing for him and write him a lot.

"I'm not sure if I'll take any visits to those places," Cherry said. "I'm trying to get my score before I do anything. I take the SAT again on Saturday."
Cherry remains 100-percent firm with the Volunteers.

"I call coach Jones, coach Gillespie and talk to their linebackers coach (Tommy Thigpen) every day," Cherry said. "They are fam for me. I talk to all of the commits like they are my brothers."

Said he's 100% committed and calls Butch, Gillespie, and Thig everyday. Also talks to the 15 commits and said they're like fam to him.

It's after NSD 2014 Cecil. Let's not be taking any visits. Play time is over. Focus on recruiting fellow Vols for the 2015 class. :loco:

After the pull this season I don't feel quite as anxious when our commits visit other places this early on. They might as well enjoy the praise while they can.

Cherry is all Vol !!!!

Whats the chances Cecil gets bumped up to a 5 star within the year? His offer lists tells me all I need to know about him, but the 5th star is always nice especially when committed to UT.

Some say......that he roams the woods at night foraging for bears, and that he has no understanding of clouds. All we know is, he's called Cecil Cherry.
