'15 JUCO WR Camion Patrick

I honestly can't think of a receiver that he reminds me of.. So physical. You just don't see many receivers like that

Pretty bad. I would say Clinton probably plays tougher.

He plays for Lenoir City.... not Clinton. He transferred from Clinton after his Soph. year. Lenoir CIty is loaded with some good athletes for 2012, lots of Jrs.
THey play some pretty good competition in 5A such as :
Maryville, Bearden, Catholic, Farragut, so whoever said they don't play good competition is completely wrong.
THis kid is physically a stud, his biggest question is will he be willing to work hard enough to be the best he can be.

As long as he shows out in camps, I'd say he gets a fourth star. His film is impressive, bad competition or not.

Can't wait to see him against teams like Maryville and Farragut this year.. I'm anxious to see how he does in camps too.. Off topic a little, but I wish they put receivers vs db's in pads at camps.. If you've played the positions, u know there's a huge difference.. If I played half as good in pads as I did out of them at camps, Id be set..

If this guy gets to some camps and combines he could blow up. Not many WR's have that type of size, frame and physical nature that this kid does. He just needs to get out there.

This kid reminds me of Robert Meachem the way he throws off defenders after he catches the ball. Meachem was the man.

Pads and no pads make a HUGE difference. I played QB my fresh, and soph year. I never understood the difference of the cuts and body control in pads. Played DB my junior and senior year and it's just amazing the difference.

Okay they go and camp in pads and someone gets a concussion or a worse injury. What then? What would you be able to tell a HS coach who's star player got hurt in a summer camp. Or a kids offer gets pulled due to he's damaged goods now. Helmets at the most.

Yes, he plays to Lenoir City now, but in his highlight film, he is playing for Clinton. Unless Lenoir City suddenly began playing Gibbs on Clinton's field.

Yeah. Patrick is a good ATH, but some ppl don't understand the level of competition some of these highlights are against. He had some good games I think against Farraguat maybe, but most of those clips when he is throwing kids off of him is against Heritage, Gibbs, etc.

Not very good teams at all. But, I mean Patrick can't help what his competition is. Good players put up big numbers and makes plays against weak competition and he certainly is doing that.

Doesn't have the speed of Robert Meachem. Didn't Meachem run a 4.3? He was a 5 star top 10 national recruit. Don't see any comparison between the two.

Patrick is solid, but will more than likely be underrated due to his level of competition.

+1. I like Patrick a lot as a prospect and my guess is he is probably a solid 4-star type prospect despite the competition but he does not have anywhere near the speed Meachem had. Meachem was huge and physical but also had elite speed. An extremely rare breed and that is why he was a 5-star coming out of high school. Legitimate gamebreaking deep threats with Meachem's size and speed combo are so hard to find.

He needs to go to camps and get publicity. That will bump his rating. But, IMO, if he wants to get better, he'll go to camps for his own good.

Exactly my thoughts. He needs to get to some camps and combines if only to increase the level of competition he's going against.

Didn't say he was on his level at all. Just said he reminds me of him they way he throws of defenders after the catch. That is the only comparison.

Also just to add to it Patrick and Meachem were the same size and weight coming out of HS but that is as far as I would take the comparison.

dude your a moron...one highlight film is clinton and the other is lenoir city...both jerseys look the same...and the one where they are playing gibbs would have to be lenoir city because because clinton never played gibbs...get the facts straight brother

I've seen this kid play several times last season in football and some in basketball this season and a few things stand out:

1. First off, he is very gifted athletically. He clearly has the size and speed to play D1 football. He may not be the fastest WR out there but he is plenty fast enough. You should see this guy jump on the basketball court; impressive.

2. He is not aggressive enough. I know his youtube highlights may not show that but then again why would it. When he plays DB he shies away from contact. At WR, he dropped too many passes on routes over the middle in traffic. On the basketball court he doesn't drive to the basket much. A guy with his size and quickness should be driving by a lot of the competition he plays against.

3. His body language is discouraging after a negative play or bad series. This one is probably being too picky but I saw it happen enough where it stood out.

If he can fix #2 and #3 he could be a special player.
