'15 JUCO RB Alvin Kamara (UT commit 6/21/14)

Never understood why he signed with Bama in the first place. He was behind like 5 running backs and never would have seen the field. The kid is very talented and could have made an immediate impact if he came to Tennessee in the first place.

I agree. But we don't know what Saban sold him on. Maybe it was winning a championship or getting to the NFL.

If the trucks ever stopped Rollin and the shat hit the fan, ole kyoon would have to rely on guys like us to feed him. Guys who have skinned a buck. I believe then that for all the wisdom, knowledge, and cleverness he possesses and tries so hard to project on here, that he would develop in the one area he sorely lacks, personal and social skills. One day when the oil gets short we'll have a thousand kyoons begging at our doorsteps. If you have to prove to everyone how smart you are then you're not as intelligent as you think you are

Moral of the story: an intelligent a**hole with a couple of good degrees is still an a**hole.

Most people don't want to work with, for, or hire a**holes.

Now I don't even have any social and personal skills?

Happy you graduated with a SCL. I guess you weren't an officer, or was delusional.

Thanks but according to Honors Programs at UT | Chancellor's Honors (the official program's website) it's a requirement to have a 31+. Few exceptions are made. I've been there, worked with, and lived with these fellow volunteers. Your insinuations about them have earned my first ever ignore. And here I thought it would have been a candy or bama fan.

Now about kamara, him transferring would be nice. I like watching them freak out.

As I posted before one of sites believes Kamara will not return. If so my best guess is he would head to JUCO if academics are the issue now. If he goes in Jan to JUCO he could graduate by spring of 2015 and be a part of that class. Meaning if this year is his redshirt year and he plays at JUCO next year he would have 3 years left, even though with his skill set would not need them. He could just try and transfer and sit out a year and still have 3 as well, but with the this semester has gone I am not sure he will have any options other than JUCO. JMO

The problem for him transferring to another SEC school involves several issues. First UA has to release him and allow him to go to another SEC program. Second if that does happen and lets say he wants to go to UT he arrives, but will have to sit out his RS freshman year. But on top of that he will have to pay out of his pocket for 2 years. His 1st year would be out of state and his 2nd would be instate. So the question is can he afford 2 years out of pocket to go UT or other schools outside the state of GA where he is from. So JUCO might be the best route for him. Might as well play next year and get the experience instead of sitting out. And he goes in Jan. the fall of 2015 he could be on the field for UT on a full scholarship or to anywhere he wants to go.

Didn't Bama release a player to go to Auburn recently?

Corey Grant transferred to AU but was not released. Which means he will not be eligible for a scholarship for any year at AU. Not sure what instate is for him out of pocket but he has a chance to make it to the NFL and would be able to pay off any loans.

When Marve transferred to Purdue from Miami HC Shannon would not let him transfer to any school in ACC, SEC, or in the state of FL. He even tried to get a hardship exception to go USF because his father was being treated for cancer in Tampa and the NCAA denied it.

Good Lord girls.

Says here he sat out to satisfy transfer rules. Says nothing of scholarship. You may be right on this.

I hate to admit this but, I have relatives that are Auburn fans. Saw them yesterday, they said he was released by Bama. That's the only way I would know.

It's perfectly normal for an institution of higher learning's admin to place an significantly larger emphasis on education. Its another to have an agenda that specifically aims to denigrate the AD.

While I'm not specifically referring to Cheek, I am, however, referring to the University Provost and Senior Vice Chancellor.

Why? Why would they do this? Sorry man, but this makes no sense at all.

If he can't pay off the loans, Corey Grant will not be able to go through bankruptcy. I hope he won't owe much.
