'15 JUCO RB Alvin Kamara (UT commit 6/21/14)

all hes saying is that if he comes to UT he can be a star player... if he goes to bama they might win a NC again.. but hes going to sit the bench since they have like 18 rbs already

Ingram played as a Freshman, TR did as well, and Yeldon played significant minutes.

I hate the fact that he is going to Bama but in the end it's his choice. He's a hometown kid so I wish him well.

Uncalled for. Kamara has gone about his recruitment the right way. No need for low blows like that. If he feels Bama is the best place for him, I wish him the best of luck.

After looking at some more film of him im starting to like him more than I did. I already felt he would be a better back than Tenpenny but I still have Henry and Jones ahead of him. I think his versatility to play different positions will help him get on the field sooner than later

I think there is a bit of a difference though, in that Ingram, TR, and Yeldon were not recruited in years when UA brought in three other highly rated runningbacks.

Also, isn't Kamara being recruited by Bama to play primarily in the slot?

It seems odd to me that a kid would go to a school with one absolute stud (who is likely going to be the starter next year) already on the roster, a big time back up (assuming Hart pans out), and three other highly touted runningbacks committed, if in fact he wants to play RB.

I agree that Kamara will be able to push for playing time just because of the versatility of his game, and I would also take Henry and Jones first in a heartbeat.

Jones, IMO, is the best back y'all have committed. From watching his junior and senior highlights, he can seemingly do everything you want an SEC back to do. I honestly think that had he not committed before the summer was over to UA, he would be rated higher, but since his recruitment didn't continue to play out, he was not looked at as closely as some others.

Jones has always been my favorite of the group, his vision, change of direction and quick feet rivals any back in the country, imo. I do feel Henry has closed the gap a lil for me.

I'm snooping! :loco: and this is the only post that I will respond to.

AK did EXACTLY!!! what I told him to do, and that was to keep his mouth closed.
PS: After signing I'm going to flip the script and give y'all a tid-bit of somethings that has pushed me off the boards, other than y'all just being retarded and super negative.

Sad when people let things said on a message board get to them .

I dint know that "sad" is the right word, but I agree that you do have to always keep in mind what kind of medium this is and how little accountability there is. Just the nature of the beast when there's anonymity involved unfortunately.

Can't really compare Ingram and Richardson seeing that was before and during Saban's rise at Bama. Yeldon saw time because him and Lacy were the only 2 legitimate options which is why Bama is going nutty at the RB position. Kamara may see some time but it won't be in the next 2 years. Unless he gets 100% behind Bama's PED program.
