Your going to get that with any board if a once proud university started struggling like we have. I'm guessing Bama boards weren't very positive from Stallings to when Saban was hired. UGA boards wanted Richt out on a rail before he rebounded in the 2011 and 2012 seasons. Florida boards probably were suspect coming into this year.

Fan bases that invest time, money, and have memories from following a program for a long time aren't going to high five each other when you see leadership from the Cheek's and Hamilton's of the world attempt to destroy something most of us are fond of. Truth is glad to see you back on the boards, but you have to take a lot of what you read on here with a grain of salt. Not everyone on here represents the silent majority. Many of the posters on here probably attend games with people that buy the tickets for them. Just consider the sources and realize we are a turnaround year away from a lot of this negativity to fall into the abyss along with the last 5 years.

Agreed. I'm personally stoked with the coaching staff and the effort they have put forth. I'm ready for a strong close on NSD and getting ready to follow some spring ball all the way up to the O&W game. Can't wait to see Croomster get implemented into CBJ and staff's offense. I see him as a big match up problem for other teams.

RBs generally carry more body weight. So along with Bama's PED and conditioning program they can create large strong athlete's who run 4.1 40s. Look for them to convert some of these genetic experiments to WR.

Sorry, Newt, you have described my role almost to a "T".

With the exception of the scarves...this is where you might get the supporting role in the book and not me. My only hope is MyzTerry doesn't like scarves...I'll have to somehow dazzle her with some other quirkiness that will make my character interesting and appealing. However, according to my ex-wife, I possess very little that can be described as either interesting or appealing.

I'll be interested in hearing what MZTerry has to say after signing day. We need a RB like Kamara really bad, but he and his family need to do what's best for them even if that means not coming to TN.

And that is the rub. The SEC is cyclical. Bama, LSU, and UGA are on top now but in the next few years it could all change. UT has been the one down, and now based on history it is our time to swing that cycle back around.

I still think kamara is all vol and has been. Just my opinion. He is tight lipped and reporters are just going off rumors. He knows he could contribute early, he knows he can get a good education, which if like Jason, is a first. And he has been up here countless times. If he has a feel for the new staff and trust them then I don't see why not us. Maybe my hoping and wishing is getting the best of me but at one time he considered Oregon if I'm not mistaken. Well we run a very similar offense now and it wouldn't surprise me if he along with bell and Lawson and dobbs all end up here. They know they could contribute early. Either way I wish the young man the best of luck bc he has handled this process like a respectable young man. Someone smell fish? Like big fish? Haha jk

I like your optimism but has he even met the new coaches? I am pretty sure he hasn't even been on campus since the coaching change.

Glad you're still around. I have tried to stay out of this tread because of all the craziness in the recruiting forum. When UT gets back to it's winning ways things should change here but I think the recruiting forum will always have some drama.
