Yeah I agree with you. UT is still such a traditional player in college football, despite the lack of big wins recently.

But winning those big, nationally televised games are what elevate programs. UT needs some of those.

It's great having players like Peyton Manning and Foster dominating on Sundays. Recruits know damn well who they are and where they went to school.

I don't see Jenkins being much of an influence in AK considering UT.

Player relationships are over blown too often.

This, they are all friends. But I think if kamara doesnt choose uga then we have the best shot us and auburn. He's too talented to be 5th string at Alabama. But could see early pt at uga just behind gurley and Marshall I could see that more than Alabama.

I don't think Jenkins switching hurts us. Given how Kamara has been in contact with the coaches, it's a positive development.

Any positive relationships don't hurt and only help the other positives of TN. So now its not just Croom but its crooms buddies like Latroy and Kenny Bynum now to now Ryan Jenkins who is very tight with Lawson and Kamara. It won't be why they choose a school but its a major pro in our favor

It can be both. It is definitely attractive to play the same place as your buddies but at the same time, from combines and camps ect. he probably has a buddy or guy he knows committed to or playing at pretty much every SEC school

Reminds me of Matt Forte from the Bears in several ways. 1) ability to catch the ball, 2) ability to run with power and finesse,3) both have that little juke move leaving fools on their faces, 4) both are deceptive with their speed. They run so smooth that they don't look as fast as they are....until they are by you without a prayer of catching them. Just my take.

Can anyone confirm he committed last night to Alabama? There is mention of it on twitter.

Edit: it has been said he is in Miami but told Mikey Davis he did not commit but there is smoke.
