'15 JUCO RB Alvin Kamara (UT commit 6/21/14)

Well, get ready to be disappointed. I don't agree about Saban. He's proven himself both on the FB field as a player and as THE most successful college FB coach. There's always gonna be whiners and people taking shots at someone who is excellent at what they do--like you.

Kamara is an 18-19 yo kid who evidently needs to learn some self-control and discipline--much like the dearly departed D-jerk rogers we had on our team. :salute:

I know, I know--and I'm ready to be flamed….

I'm not gonna flame you dude. I was mostly kidding anyway. But notice I said life, not as a head football coach.

Okay…I lost the distinction you made concerning "life" since the context of the discussion was Saban's decisions concerning football players and the fact that he is the head ball coach at said school Kamara chose to attend--and this is a football thread discussing the status of aforementioned pouting recruit named Kamara.

We good!!! I don't know much about Saban's personal life, but he's been married for 42 years to the same woman, has raised 2 good kids…

I personally don't know him, but I do admire excellence in any profession regardless of whether it's found in our biggest rival or not. Here's an article about him if you care to read it.

Here's another good read about our beloved coach Jones if you care to read it, too…

I guess you are still working on mastering the art of sarcasm. Nice rant to combat a poster making a comical post.

Without reading....Kamara is upset because of lack of pt (as promised) voiced his displeasure, and is now being Sabanized.

Saban: "You'll play when I say you'll play at the position that I tell you to. Now sit down. By the way I yell at everyone because I'm tiny and have to feel like a big man yelling a people that are twice my size. And quit trying to steal me Lucky Charms!!!!!"

Yeah I'm not sure where everyone is getting that from. It's not like he's for a track record of leaving for something new. Some people...

Love the sarcasm :good!:. We will see, I highly doubt he leaves. If its money, Alabama would match any offer Texas would put up. I hate him but I want to stay so when we get rolling it will be sweet to beat him into the dirt.

How do you know this to be the case?

I don't care if it's Saban or Derek Dooley coaching Alabama, I want a win over them however we can get it. Don't care if they're down or if they're up. They certainly haven't given a **** about us being down these last few years.

I saw on BSPN a couple of days ago that Saban's agent said Nick would listen to an offer from Texas . He also said Texas was the only job that Saban would leave Alabama for. Now I'm thinking he's just gonna squeeze more money out of Alabama , but I'm a life long Dolphins fan and you can't discount the possibility that he will leave completely

Texas is the one school that could definately outbid Alabama. Others might be able to, but with Texas, as it pertains to money, I guarantee they would blow Bama away.

There's that , and I really think Saban is a guy who likes a challenge . He's sitting on top of the college football world right now . Not that Texas would be a rebuild , but it would be more of a challenge

Saban realizes as long as he's at Bama he will be expected to be perfect. Guys, no man is perfect, and Bama will have struggles down the road, especially since AJ leaves this year. I think Saban realizes it's only down hill for Bama after this year. If they win another NC this year I think he'll be gone to either Texas or NFL.
