'15 IN LB Darrin Kirkland Jr (UT Commit 12/15/14)

I don't think there'd be any backlash if you had simply questioned the information.

You took it a step further and called the guy creepy and said that the information was garbage. Don't really see your point in doing that.

Exactly. If you're going to dish it out, learn to take it. People should stop castrating folks that bring info here. If you don't like it move on, what's gained by calling someone out? Some posts are more true than others but who are you to judge?

97 posts and you're questioning credibility?

At what number of posts exactly am I allowed to ask questions? What does that have to do with anything? I read more than I write in this forum; many people do. I see plenty of off-topic conversations and even implausible rumors.

I can't possibly imagine myself approaching a recruit's parents during a private meeting with coaches. As soon as I question the story, people suggest that I'm running off posters with inside info. Conversely, I would argue that posters like you run off good people by mocking their post count. How do you expect people to get involved? I cannot imagine this level of backlash on a forum like Reddit. I wasn't the one who resulted to name-calling yet the story-teller called me "stuck-up."

This is a serious problem in our society today. People seem to think that their perspective is only one that's valid. Please feel free to continue on bickering online, and defend how legit your point of view is.

FYI...a private meeting between a coach and a recruit's parents wouldn't be taking place in a hotel bar. If they wanted privacy and zero chance of interruption, they would be somewhere else. It is what it is...he happened upon the group in the bar and approached them. You wouldn't do it. He did. Nothing wrong with either action IMO.

Even from pretend insiders?

Maybe pay more attention to the manner in which you questioned him. It's one thing to question the validity of a story but labeling someone a "creep" or calling their info garbage is pretty whack IMO.

You sound sensitive to the fact that anyone would dare question the validity of such an outlandish story. Of course I am skeptical; the whole thing seems like a ploy to garner post likes. I don't believe everything I read. Judging by your inability to spell words and use correct punctuation, it only gave credence to my suspicions.

Hahahaha

"anyone would dare question the validity of such an outlandish story." lol, do you ever read your own post aloud just to see if it sounds completely ridiculous? Because you sound completely ridiculous right now.

The dude stayed at a downtown hotel and saw them at the hotel bar. You'll gain nothing by trying to prove him wrong. If he's telling the truth you look like a dunce, if he's not - well, he's certainly not going to come clean. Keep it in perspective mane.

Yes, even from pretend insiders, and also terrible posters like yourself. You should pay attention to what's being said here, you could def use a little knowledge on how to treat your fellow board members.

Exactly. What if I were a fan that started posting some Sabanocchio-level stuff, telling stories, writing "Dear Stan" letters to recruits, or approached recruits' parents while they were having dinner? At some point a line is crossed. Apparently it's been done before because that person has allegedly received NCAA infraction/violation letters and been reprimanded by the university. Would Volnation posters be sympathetic to that sort of behavior? Would they believe any story told?

Read your last sentence again. Then go read all that garbage you posted in the Middleton thread

If you're referring to me interrupting the constant bashing from you and burger then there's no need. I bet your tune has changed now that Middleton is back on track though right? Or is she still just a useless thug wasting his time playing high school football at Oak Ridge?

I hope you're right about him. I really do.

I'm not saying that he's a saint by any means, and I point I tried to make in that thread was that he's going to make mistakes as a kid but there is plenty of time to turn it around and for his story to have a happy ending. Not a massage parlor happy ending, but a good future playing ball lol.

On Darrin Kirkland Jr.

Just traded some texts with him and they are leaving campus. We are set to talk later this evening as he's wanting some time to talk with his family. It seems like it was a good visit and hopefully we'll get more details later tonight but just wanted to keep everyone updated.
