You're right, he probably wasn't. But he also was clueless about all the other factors. namely, the career earnings potential of the NFL and how important it may be to someone to go to the school that is right for them.
Anyway, we are off topic. Let's just move on I guess
All I know is Jones better be calling this kid and/or Azzani and letting him know that he will be OK.... that goes for everyone else on offense. This signing class has officially stalled until something gives and someone is hired.... your Allen's and others are not going to make a decision until something is finalized.... and it isn't helping that there are all these strong rumors of players leaving.... they better stay becuase we may be losing some commits...

Maybe, just maybe, Azzanni won't be a 8==D, and he will wait til after signing day to leave if he is going to leave.
If he is smart he leaves the second he accepts the job. In no way would he be in the wrong. Its kind of his new job to sign kids who would he playing for him. If he accepts the HC gig.
So a coach can drop a school less than two weeks from signing day but a coach can't ask a player to grey shirt? Is that not dirty according to your definition? By the way if CZA takes the CMU job I think he should go immediately IOT try and pull a couple of late recruits. I just wanted to point out that you were being a little hypocritical in your positions on the goings on this close to NSD.
You may now retort with your normal mumbo jumbo.
Kids SHOULD be committing to a school and not a position coach. IMO they are not the same at all.

My comment was on CZA leaving. You think if he takes another job he should leave immediatly even if it leaves UT in a lurch. How is a coach bolting two weeks from NSD different from a school parting ways with a recruit in the same time frame. It is easier for a 4* recruit to find a new landing spot than it is for a school to conduct a coaching search, interviews, and hiring process in that short amount of time. You think one is ok and one is not. Why is the one ok and the other is dirty recruiting?
