“It was a good game, and Tennessee played well[.] I went to the spring game (in April), but that was my first game there. Man, it was crazy. I saw the Vol Walk. That was amazing. It was just crazy. The fans were out tailgating and everything. I think they were like that at 6 o’clock that morning. I heard a lot about (the game-day atmosphere at Tennessee), and it was really nothing like what I thought it would be. I really think they have some of the greatest fans in the whole country, and they really proved it to me that they really are.”

“What I like most about them (is) they run the ball,” he said. “Most people think of them as a spread offense, that they pass the ball a lot, but they really run the ball. And I see Coach Jones and the coaching staff trying to build their team and everything.”

“There’s a lot of other schools up there right now, but I’m still open to every school,” Swinney said. “Tennessee, they’re still up there. But I’m just going to keep my mind open and keep my options open.”

“My mom wants to come this time, so I will be coming (to another Tennessee game). We’ll probably go catch either one of those (remaining home) games,” he said.

Basically there will soon be a "group" of schools he likes, with UT sitting at the top, looking down at everyone else. Can't wait to see ES in ORANGE.

I am not an insider to the program by any means. Was just having a casual convo with someone in Georgia about one of the recent commits and they mentioned they had another UT commit at their school. Don't know if it was a slip or if they were just saying that because he has talked a lot about UT. But, they did say a UT commit. I think this guy may have already given the old :good!:.

I hope I am right because he will be a good one.

I bet this kid is our next commit. I would even be willing to bet based off of his comments he is currently silent. If we have a bad loss to Mizzou or Auburn keep an eye out for this kid to go public. JMO

He definitely seems more interested when talking about Tennessee in the interview. Also wants to commit before his senior season, which is in our favor.

"RB Eric Swinney, Tyrone (Ga.) Sandy Creek (2015): Swinney is already a member of the 2015 Rivals250 watch list and he's been showing why all season. He's a punishing runner who also has excellent feet and a nice burst.

He has offers from schools from all over the country, with Ole Miss being among his early favorites. Swinney will be a fun guy to watch this offseason has he tries to stake his claim as one of the top backs in the country."

Vol (I hope)

Edit: I think we have a great chance with this young man. Think the Vols are leading at this point.
