I guess CBJ should stop recruiting highly ranked layers and only focus on the lower ranked guys. That way if they don't work out then it's no big deal because expectations were not high to begin with.
It's obvious that we are so good that we don't need ultra talented players.
I don't think I ever said that at all. You can run with it though. IMO he will be the best passer in the class. With our weapons on the outside, I do think it helps set him up to do well right away.
kind of funny you say he is the best passer in this class when I have a friend who is a former QB at Tn ,who says he needs more work on passing than TG. Who to believe ? you or a former QB ? but he likes QD also. he called TG a program changer. he didn't say that about QD. So some place he has seen TG throw UT.
For those who don't like percentages, here are some more intuitive breakdowns based on the numbers from the entire 2014 draft:
A five-star recruit had a three-in-five chance of getting drafted (16 of 27).
A four-star had a one-in-five chance (77 of 395).
A three-star had a one-in-18 chance (92 of 1,644).
A two-star/unrated recruit had a one-in-34 chance (71 of 2,434).
You won't allow yourself to fall into thinking taking really talented, highly-rated players is a good idea?
So brave.
Has he ever played the position or is he just trying it out?
