Indeed. Just hope the NCAA is watching closely, with boots on the ground...fannies in the pew. Whichever.Reverend Newton loves him some AU family
To be honest, I'd rather we not take a 2nd QB if we can't land one of the upper tier prospects. Having 3 QB's in 2015 wouldn't be that problematic, IMHO. Many teams only have 3 scholarships QB's on the roster. If we get Dormady, then I'm #TeamJennings...I'll support anyone who wears the orange and white, but I'm not particularly happy about whiffing on a top-tier QB prospect two cycles in a row. If that were to come to fruition, that is.

Guys, please don't bash because it's an honest question. But why would Gruden make such a difference in his decision? He wasn't really known as a QB guru or anything like that. Sure he does the QB interviews before the draft and I know every high school player would want to meet him, but why would that make such a difference in him picking UT over Auburn? He won't be there to coach him in college. It's a staff and scheme thing, and Gruden can't change that

Dormady will blow up this season. If he is still growing like they say, all he has to do is shine at a few camps and his first few games and we'll be demanding he get his 4th star. Kinda like the QB for Auburn last year (but he won't blow up that much).
But you know that would cause aches and groans on VN. Some of these people will only be happy if we get all the 5*s and big names,
AU Rivals takeaway on Gibson -
He wasn't what I expected at all. We're talking about a young man who was bumped from his team's spring game for an off-the-field issue. I'm thinking he's a maverick; I'm expecting Pat Sims. Instead, Gibson was a congenial and very friendly person. Quick-witted and sharp... He's totally at ease around reporters, obviously. I got the sense that Auburn is his leader with Tennessee relatively close behind in second place. He really likes this offense and he feels like he can come in and bring at least what Nick Marshall brings, which is a lot. Very cool kid. I like him a lot.
