Johnny Football probably had the most drama associated with a college athlete that I've ever seen. Worked out pretty well for Johnny and A&M...

Not saying that TG is gonna be the next Johnny Football since there is just as good a chance of him being a 5-star bust than a 5-star stud. But talent is talent, and this guy has got some skills that you just can't teach.

Meh...I don't understand what all the drama is about. Last time I checked, Gibson has done nothing but RAVE about Butch Jones and the UT fanbase every chance he gets. He's named us his leader the past 2 times he's been asked. He's constantly tweeting other recruits and telling them to look at Tennessee. TG is also super tight with a lot of UT's top targets and could propel us to another top 5 finish on NSD.


Sounds like he should be #1 on Volnation's big board

It seems like every other QB is realizing the QB dominoes are falling except for him.

Kai Locksley moved his timeline up to June now as well.

Personally, I think that Torrance, based on his comments thus far, is adhering to a strategy that was perfectly normal ten years ago but could be problematic now, i.e. wait almost until National Signing Day to make the big announcement. Quarterbacks now are the cornerstone of any recruiting class and if he chooses to be hardheaded and wait until January to make a decision, he will find his opportunities far more limited than his talent would otherwise provide. Hopefully, he will see the wisdom of committing soon to the Big Orange.

Now with Riley out, that leaves us with Worley starting and Dobbs as backup and starter in 2015. Hopefully, he is awesome and gets to 2016. This is awesome opening for "the right stuff" and CBJ has to make the critical QB hire for 2015. Torrance Gibson is a serious contender that we have been wooing. Who do we need to knife to get him here?

With the sweet set of weapons we have been acquiring on O (can you just imagine the top dual threat QB at WRU?), do we have a good shot to snatch him from the Barn? Who else do we HAVE to get if we don't? and would you say that CBJ landing a 4*+ QB this year is his #1 priority x10 and pretty much anything else he does on or off the field is far secondary?

Looks like Gibson may have some issues with his attitude. He has been in trouble several times but he certainly is a talent and probably worth the risk. Probably a good idea to have a plan B even if you land Gibson.

Yep this. After three years of Bray, I could go for awhile without dealing with even a hint of attitude issues. Especially from someone who is already a marginal prospect as a passer.

Uhh, I believe Jennings is a 4*+ QB recruit so anyone else would just be icing on the cake.
