Only time I was really known for being "negative" was the 18 or so months I spent on here trying to get Dooley fired. I was ripped a lot over all that. Came close to being banned a few times I think. In the end, it was all worth it.

Dude, did you forget your summer long ranting about the lack of dl last year? You get ripped because you're a broken record.

The replies to LV have also been a broken record, "Blah blah blah we are tired of hearing about the numbers, blah blah blah you are such a negavol, blah blah blah broken record broken record broken record." LV isn't the only one stuck in a holding pattern. Guy respects what the number situation is and goes in realistically, he has probably listed somewhere who his 'takes' are this year, and Gibson may or may not be on it for whatever reason. Deal with it people. He also has the cajones to stand with what he believes in. I think the thing that we can all agree on is if Butch wants him (Gibson), we want him. And we all get the pleasure of riding out another 8ish months of this. Its the off season I havent seen much original thought anywhere for the last couple months on here. Just my 2 cents, GBO.

I think osu. The osu board I looked at felt they were just taking 1 QB if 1 at all. About half their board said they did not need 1 this year. Looks to be a UT/AU battle for now. LSU on the outside but under consideration.

The eleven warriors forum was comparing their new qb to tebow and Blake bortles.. Very VN-esque

His passing skill set? W/out a doubt. TG is a great runner but IMO it would be a it of overkill and points to why some think he would be better at WR. His few carries a game would not make up for his passing issues IMO.

So would you take this same stance if in his senior season, he improves his passing? Would he still not be worth it? I mean what if he improved his passing a little bit, then came here, worked with Whitfield and really improved? Would taking him be worth it then?

I had said for a while closer to NSD maybe taking him would make sense. I mentioned quite a while ago that some schools may wait o take him to see how he did his SR year. Now that Fergs looks to be gone, everything has changed. The staff was for sure taking 1 QB when they took Jennings. Fergs gone, now makes sense they would take another unless they look for a transfer.

I had read somewhere that au was really pushing for Kai Locksley to be their 2nd QB in this class along with Queen. I figured he commits there and then the Gibson to UT would be pretty much a done deal. I then noticed that Kai's dad is the OC for Maryland. You would have to think Maryland would be tough to beat there.

Actually if you looked back or continue to follow my posts as I suspect you will, you would note I use Rivals rankings for just about everything. As I said, I think they do a better job.

You mean the only recruiting outlet that still doesn't have Preston Williams as a top-50 player? I swear, you hold the wrong opinion on just about every topic.

Who's having a period??...when this diagnosis comes from a medical professional like yourself Doc...:yikes: :yikes:...I am retaining a lot of water lately.

Era or epoch would have worked better, I guess... Glad to see you lightening up a lttle :)

This just seems like a lot of drama. I'd rather take a less debated option at QB. Regardless, landing a 5* is always exciting.
