Honestly, even though Gentry may be my favorite qb target, I'm having trouble getting really excited about any of those 3. All have low completion percentages, below 60% (Jennings below 50% I believe) and Gibson was rated a 4 out of 10 on 247 for his accuracy. Not to mention he struggled at that one camp and moved from qb to receiver at said camp. Tremendous athlete, throws a good ball, and has the release of a qb, not an athlete playing qb. Just has to be able to put it on the money more consistently.
As for Gentry, about 56% completion percentage playing against New Mexico competition is pretty underwhelming. I know there are other factors, like him throwing downfield a lot and getting terrible blocking, but still. I'd really like to see a big improvement this year for him. Especially if he chooses to be a Vol.
Prove that Gibson is. Provide a quote from CBJ that says otherwise.
But you won't, cuz it's a violation.
Therefore, VQ gets 95% of the inside info. And they say Gentry is #1
From what I saw there was only one guy repeatedly giving us respect for what we have accomplished in recruiting since Butch Jones came to town. He warned his own fan-base that we are "LOADED" with talent from the last recruiting cycle and will surprise a lot of people, including OK, if they think they can walk over us.
They won't walk over us, FWIW. I'm not delusional, but I think it's possible we go into Norman with confidence, make some plays we couldn't have last year, and walk out of there with a W. GBO~

Wanna guess what Peyton's completion % was when he left high school? 59%
Holy different era Batman...dialing back to when most QBs played basketball and baseball instead of camping...why not reference Unitas's percentage?

I don't see how the fact that kids nowadays spend their summers running and jumping in shorts and underarmour shirts and being generally overanalyzed and whored out by ESPN changes the fact that Peyton didn't complete 60% of his passes in high school.
Worley had an amazing completion percentage in high school. In college, he's been somewhat meh in the accuracy department.
The point stands that completion percentage for high school QBs isn't exactly the end all e all of judging a prospect.
