Realize that we wouldn't have anything to talk about if we didn't engage in non-stop speculation, but this has become stupid. If TG wants to play at Tennessee, he will. If he wants to play QB, he will have the opportunity to earn the chance, just like JJ and QD. As both JJ and TG have other options, if either does not make the cut as QB, they have the option of changing positions rather than changing schools. Since both have a high upside outside of QB, you take them both without question or hesitation. Anyone here that acts like they know which of the three QB *candidates* wins the position is full of crap. To state absolutely that TG will not be QB at UT...before he has committed...before NSD...before the first training camp...is just plain dumb. There are so many things that can (and likely will) change between now and when any of these guys would take their first snaps, it's just goofy to act like you know.

We get it. You're a football genius. You have your own forum... Go use it.
A lot of emotional butthurt people in this thread.
Use some common sense and understand what Butch is doing with his recruiting and fitting them into the scheme he will be using in the future. Do that and it all makes total sense.

I am able to give you reasoning that makes sense. You keep repeating that as if it's a response but it's not. If you can rebut Vol8188 do so but if not staying silent makes you look a lot smarter than just claiming everyone who disagrees is too young, too emotional, or just wrong (without giving any rebuttal). The latter, as you're using it, is an argumentum ab auctoritate with the presumption that you're the authority while the other two could be classed as baseless ad hominen attacks. All are logical fallacies.
The butthurt ones are the ones not paying attention to what the experts say and who the coaches are recruiting where. I guess you and the other 4 Gibson haters know more than everyone paid to cover recruiting and CBJ.

The experts? Barton Simmons? Remember who TG spent his time with while in Knoxville. ZA.
I am not a Gibson hater. I want to see Gibson sign with the Vols. He will be an outstanding WR for the Vols.
However, I do understand where he fits into the Butch Jones zone read scheme and our current QB recruiting.
You call it fallacies without using reasoning other than to say you disagree with me. That is of itself an attack.I take it you have no idea what I just said to you. FWIW, that wasn't an attack. It was however pointing out that you're presently engaging several logical fallacies and presenting them as arguments.

Let's just wait and see what happens.
Then you guys can say what you want or you will just remain silent as I believe you will.
I am looking forward to TG playing WR for the Vols and having a stand out career at the position.
