He stayed here for 4-5 days and spent all of his time with players and coaches. I think we may be in this far more than you do. He hasn't done anything like that at another school. His interviews from today seem much more personal than any I've read from him. JMO of course.

I agree, well said. Let's just let this kid's recruitment play out, be happy that we're still very much in it and be ecstatic next February if he chooses to become a Vol. The way I see it, we're kinda playing with house money right now since QD and Jennings are already verbally committed.

I have seen a few of the rivals analysts mention that at camps he has mostly worked at WR. They don't know why, and he hasn't said why.

Because he knows that's his "fall back" position. If he has more problems in college picking up the QB position he can go to WR and not miss a beat.

Well I do not see how him staying long on campus has anything to do with it, but you guys are getting pretty worked up over my opinion..

All I am saying is I do not think we end up getting him, and personally I am fine with that. I like QD, and IMO... QB's need to commit early and help put together the class they are with. That is the first step when dealing with leadership.

And that is what you want from a QB, someone who is going to be a leader. Take the front seat, and decide things like, I am not going to let us lose. I am going to make sure I have the players around me that I want to help me and my team be successful...etc Not someone who is going to wait till the very last minute and therefor does nothing for your recruiting class other then his own personal rating..

again.. just my opinion. Its not like the coaches are going to decide not to take him because they read my post.

Give me a 3/4* who is begging to be a vol over a 5* we have to convince this is the best place to be anyday. Players that are out grinding right now to get better instead of taking trips to see the 20 schools that offered him.

jennings will be asked to play safety.. If he doesn't want to he will likely decommit... With ferguson gone and worley graduating that leaves us with dobbs, peterman, and dormady for 2015. There is definitely still room for gibson if he commits

It seems that this situation is much like CBJ taking way more signees than it appeared we had room for last year. So, we're just going to have to wait and see how it shakes out. Doesn't seem like there's any way to make 3 QB prospects in the same class, happy.

Maybe JJ is pretty open to playing a different position and we don't yet know it

Are you saying Butch won't take Gibson's commitment if he gives it? If not that means we are taking three. Two already committed plus willing to take another means we will take three if possible.

Exactly. I think he is willing to lose one of the others to take TG. But Butch seems like he is a man of his word and if the others have the balls to stick it out after TG commits, He will let them battle it out. Then ask the least productive to redshirt, or try another position. It's that simple
