I leave for an hour and there are 7 new pages. I've never ignored a recruit's thread before, but I'm seriously considering it.

I doubt you, I, or anyone on the board can say with 100% certainty where Butch would want him or if Butch would take his commitment today at all.

Taking 2 QBs in a class is usually the most a team ever tries to take. Taking 3 is about unheard of. We just so happen to have a WR spot available IMO and TG has been said to do well at WR. Possibly even a 4-5* IF he was a full time WR. IMO if he wants to play WR, he would fit into the class nicely.

Maybe we NEED to take THREE qbs so that the odds of one actually working out are greater. We don't have anyone proven right now. Potential is there, but we need a backup plan. Anyone who wants to pass on TG is crazy, or just used to being let down and cant see a bright future with him here, so they write it off as. He cant play qb, we won't take 3 or he ain't coming to Tennessee. I can see us taking 3 because 2 can also play other positions if they don't pan out at qb.We had Worley, Peterman, Dobbs and Riley, which someone here had each one pinned as the next great. How did that work out? We've got to have someone get these Great WRs the ball, or our what could be great running game won't work. And wru becomes wr who? Everyone enjoy the ride and get used to what's going on because Butch ain't playing around

Jennings will be asked to play safety.. if he doesn't want to he will likely decommit... with Ferguson gone and Worley graduating that leaves us with Dobbs, Peterman, and Dormady for 2015. There is definitely still room for Gibson if he commits

It seems that this situation is much like CBJ taking way more signees than it appeared we had room for last year. So, we're just going to have to wait and see how it shakes out. Doesn't seem like there's any way to make 3 QB prospects in the same class, happy.

Maybe JJ is pretty open to playing a different position and we don't yet know it

I don't think so. Why take his commitment at all if your a coach and know he said he would only consider schools signing him as a QB? IMO IF Jennings ends up at S, it will be months after he gets on UT's campus. It could be 2-3 years just as easy.

If Gibson feels the same way as Jennings and it's QB or nothing for his signature, I'd be passing on him having 2 other QBs onboard. JMO
