Or maybe it's because he's an unbelievable WR so they wanted to see what he had there.

Or maybe Urban Meyer talked the camp into switching him, so the other schools would begin to worry am look else where. :birgits_giggle:

I haven't been amazed with this kid as qb like most have. The wr move does not come that big of a surprise to me

The hype of him being a 5* type at QB then being unceremoniously moved to WR does surprise me...it's the equivalent of Deshaun Watson having to do the same this time last year :eek:hmy: Maybe instead of making epic event announcements on Twitter,he should have been throwing footballs through tire swings. :yess:

Isn't this guy left-handed? I know that's not a huge deal and it may have nothing to do with his WR workouts, but there aren't many pure, elite lefty QBs out there.

That is probably because only ~12% of males globally are left-handed. Considerably more right-handed males means that there will be considerably more right-handed quarterbacks and thus a far larger "pool" from which "elite" players can come from.

This is true. A left handed throw just never looks as smooth as a right handed. Maybe it's just me.

I never really considered that.

The kid is a phenomenal athlete, but he is not a good passer.

At UT, we can not afford to have a bad passing QB, as it kills the recruitment of top WRs and playmakers.

The kid moves to WR if he comes to UT. I would not let him near the center.

As a former WR, my QB was a lefty, and my cousin, who was also a QB was a righty. It used to always mess me up when I was practicing catching with one hand, because the ball has an opposite spin, depending on the thrower, and would spin out of the hand as opposed to inwards to the body. It took me a while to figure out (I wasn't as smarter in HS)

LOL
