Clemson is an engineering school. The list of majors at UT should be much larger than Clemson's. Both are good engineering schools, Clemson being superior in that regard. But I think UT has more to offer in terms of academic variety.

That said, I am not sure if Malone is super into engineering, but UT having a whole lotta new facilities coming up for the engineering program, I don't think this will play a factor in his recruiting. It is a push.

My understanding is he is majoring in finance. He doesn't have a choice. If he doesn't he won't be able to count those piles of money he will receive from being a former UT wide receiver in the NFL
