VQ must be feeling pretty confident because they just released an article about how Butch Jones has lived up to his promise on locking down the state of Tennessee. It obviously doesn't say we are going to get Malone but it hinted that it is very possible that we lock the whole class up.
Some good quotes.
I actually agree. He has a good thing going in Pasadena right now, and a roster that can seriously compete next year if Hundley returns for his Jr season.
The perception, as I understand it,is that basketball will always reign at UCLA...it's still a great situation and a majority of coaches would consider it a destination job. USC will always be the big dog in that market though...Washington is numero uno in it's state and one only has to watch those Seahawks nuts to see what support is potential in that fanbase

What a strange dream job. That's like naming Applebee's as your favorite restaurant of all time. Bizarre.
Clemson friend shared with me their Rivals site latest update. Can't post here but I will summarize, not much new to add.
Summarized visits that we already know happened. Confirmed that neither staff has recieved a silent commit yet and that Josh is at home today mulling the final decision and that both staffs feel like it could go either way. Both staffs are waiting on the call in the next 24 hours to learn his decision.
Gonna be a nailbiter.
Just a complete inference, but I think Tennessee's staff should and does feel better than the Clemson staff. The VQ staff has just been too optimistic to not have a fairly high inclination that he is going to Tennessee. Saying we had the momentum going into the in-homes, writing the article about Jones locking up the state, and not saying a single negative thing.
Generally it is the losing side that has no clue what is going on.

I am not one of those that claims to be an insider, but my buddy was just getting off a plane with Azanni who said he is hopeful, but still gave it 50/50. He said he spent all day with him yesterday. He did say the connection with the incoming Clemson QB is the main problem.
Just passing along. I know it's nothing new.
