How is Clemsons QB situation that much better than ours? Boyd gone, yes They have some guys who have been waiting a few yrs but counting on Watson to take over without lots of growing pains is unrealistic. Seems their situation isn't that much different.

Highly rated QBs are often much more sexy before they play than if they play too early

You have to now that you've said that. Sure...CBJ is the most important part but how can you say that Thig isn't earning his keep when he is responsible for half the recruiting class. Pray tell.

I just think CBJ has such a great recruiting personality and vision for the program he can sell it at this elite level of recruiting without a strong recruiting enfluence of assistant coaches.

lulz, now this post here takes the cake..wtf..so butch goes on all recruiting visits..all of them? no one else?..

Of course not but IMO it doesn't take a special recruiter to bring the prospect to campus and have CBJ finish the sell job.

I know in the past 3 years we had to have strong assistant coaches finish the sell job. That isn't the case now and that's clear

My brother talked to his old parter today who wks with Cordell Joshs dad.While not giving to much info about who he picks he did say he was a mamas boy and didnt think he would be to far away from her.Just passing info.I ask him if Cordell was a Vol fan and he said he was.But he also said it didnt matter hes gonna go to the school Mom feels best about.So sell Mom get Josh. Flame away.

I heard on the radio today from a sports writer from Chattanooga Times Free Press, that Malone was going to announce Wednesday that he would be committing to Tennessee..not that is ANY shock or any surprise of ANY kind…..well just saying
