He has a buddy at school that he is close with and he told him as well his decision was made.

A few weeks ago is around the time when he was visiting Tennessee a couple of times, if I am not mistaken.

If Butch lands this guy, it will be a truly extraordinary accomplishment. Malone has dissected each team and analyzed each situation more than I can remember any recruit in the recent past. For him to choose the Vols after the inept offensive performances over the last several weeks would be a huge statement.

Not sure where he eventually ends up but my confidence level is low on him signing here. Would love to be wrong, because we really need him.

Nobody has known about Malone, at any point. He's kept everything close to the vest, thus far. So, that statement wouldn't be any different than what's been said all along.

Be prepared to be labeled a troll. No one up in here likes info that contradicts their orange-tinted opinions.

That being said, I believe we will land him, but we've got some serious convincing to do. This kid is a down field threat and wants to go somewhere thats throws it deep, or better yet a QB who can chuck it down field. Wish he could have seen Fergy throw that ball.. he can throw it over them mountains.
