Completely agree. I know a lot are saying that we have a good young corps of WRs right now and there are other needs. I disagree. I think Malone is elite, in the mold of a Carl Pickens, Alvin Harper or Anthony Miller...maybe even better and we desperately need his playmaking ability on the outside opposite North/Pearson. Seems Butch is addressing the big uglies need anyway, but no other offensive recruit outside of perhaps Hurd can have the impact that Malone will IMO.

malone and pearson are really really important gets in this class and both will see plenty of PT in 2014

Wouldn't UT announce this? Didn't they announce the others that signed? Either way, a very positive sign.

They dont have to release them if they dont want to. If he has signed those papers, they'll likely respect his wishes and not release them until he makes his official announcment.
