It's hilarious how anti-Vol Simmons really is. He said for the longest that Tennessee wouldn't even get one of Malone's OVs. He was adamant that Barnett was either Vandy or tOSU. Mosley was all Bama. Hell, I remember way back when Butch first got here, he said Hurd's top 3 was Vandy, Bama and Florida. Like 2 weeks later Hurd committed to UT lulz.

I know nothing is set in stone, but how can he be so blatantly wrong about that stuff and still be around? What an easy job he's got.

Agree, I listen to 3HL when Clay is gone off to film on FS1, Mayor and Blaine are actually better off without him IMO. Blaine is a big kid, he seems like a great genuine dude.

Midday is great, they see Franklin for who he is, and has called him out multiple times. Now Franklin doesn't even talk to them. It's fantastic.

We're on the same page. Midday 180 guys now have great chemistry with Kuharsky and they all see Snakehead for the petulant ass he is. Appt listening.

PS Any idea who Herschel is?

No, but he had some good primary complaints yesterday. Pure Gold, Jerry.

EDIT: I think he and Art have to be neighbors. They are also probably given good material to call in with. Funny anyways.

Malone has picked up 3 crystal ball predictions to UT including Simmons today. An Ole miss insider and Kipp Adams also jumped on board.

On Thursday, I changed my Crystal Ball prediction from Georgia to Tennessee. The Vols have been trending for a while now. Late in the summer, Tennessee was trailing several other programs but the efforts of Tommy Thigpen and Butch Jones got the Vols back on track. A promising season has helped build on that momentum and as Tennessee’s recruiting class continues to pile up highly-touted prospects (currently sitting at No. 2 in the 247Sports rankings) the excitement is only growing.
Tennessee does have serious competition for Malone though and at this point in the process, Florida State looks to be its top contender. The Seminoles have everything Malone is looking for with a pro-style offense, a track record getting players to the NFL, a history of quarterback success, a current quarterback that will overlap with Malone and even a friend on the roster in fellow middle Tennessee native Jalen Ramsey.
What Florida State is missing though is proximity. Due to Malone’s tight relationship with his family, that missing factor is big. If Malone is able to develop a better comfort level with the distance of Tallahassee before his commitment then Florida State suddenly becomes the clear team to beat. If not, things boil down to Tennessee and Georgia and we’re hearing that Tennessee has taken the lead in that battle.

I agree. Anyhow, great news the Vandy homer changed his prediction.
