There is a Rivals article about him getting a Bama offer, but I don't have a subscription.

ohio state and fsu worry me here. uga and tenn tied at top with osu and fsu the dark horses. really hope he ends up a vol.

I think the general consensus is that we still lead. That being said, if there was any position that we could afford to lose a Top 100 nationally/ in state player its WR. This wouldn't be nearly the disaster of losing out on Gaulden/ TK/ Hurd or even Barnett.

Uh we are not that stacked at WR as we once thought. We need Malone.

Maybe. Maybe not. You're doing a lot of crystal balling here. I think our LB corps will be better next year, so will our secondary. I know we have some goo WR right now but it is by no means stacked. Plus we need Malone badly because he is a huge in state recruit. Landing him is more important than you think.

Lol. Is the synopsis you just gave not crystal balling? I'm not saying that Malone isn't a talent or instate. Go back and look at my original post. I'm saying that we have more depth at WR than any position on the D. We had 6 different WRs catch balls yesterday. We started a walk on in the secondary and two former DBs at LB. What part of that do you not get?
