I'm not sure where you're getting your information but Malone is headed to Tennessee. His Mom likes Tennessee and it is where Josh is headed. By the way, Josh likes Tennessee too and the game today only increased his like for them. The team, crowd and atmosphere helped sell it. Josh Malone = VFL
Old Vol49 has shared his passion and given us personal insight into his old school vol experiences, a rarity on message boards.
Never thought he'd be an insider, but I'll take it!
OldVol, you have anything off the top of your head about Butch's 15 yard penalty in the 2nd half... I would think Majors had a few of those in his days?
From what I understand Butch was screaming to (not at) the players on the field and the official felt he was screaming at him. Butch was also a couple steps out on the field. This was most likely an official with a big head that felt the game was more about him than the players on the field. From what I've seen at our games and some games on TV we have several SEC officials that seem to believe the officials are more important than the game or the players. One of the officials kept forcing Butch away from the Referee with his body about 25 yards back down the sideline. The SEC office should re-train that idiot, he was out of line.
As for Majors, the worst I ever seen him explode at a game was at Kentucky, I believe in 1987, and it was over officiating. I was in the upper deck and Bobby Denton was sitting behind me and he was listening to the KY football network on a radio and he said that Cawood Ledford who called the KY games made the comment to listeners that the officiating against TN was the worst he had ever seen in an SEC game. He then apoligized to KY fans for taking up for TN! They penalized TN 17 yds. on a 15 yard penalty and wouldn't change it back and a KY receiver caught a pass clearly more than a yard out of bounds and the officials gave it to him. IIRC we took a safety at the end of the game to preserve the victory. Major stopped the Referee at halftime and kept him from going in and talked to him for 2 or 3 minutes before he let him go.
Deductive reasoning.
I have no inside info.
I'm sorry, I don't see it the way you do. He has been to Tennessee a lot. Georgia seems to be the only other school he's seriously interested in so it would make sense to go to several of their games but that, in my opinion, doesn't mean Georgia is his clear cut favorite. I can understand why he would choose a Georgia game or two over a Tennessee one since he's been here so much already.

Seems like legitimate reasoning.I'm hoping this weekend's experience pulls him in.
I'm just saying....with all UGA games he has attended.....something is rotten in Denmark.
If this was opposite.....and he had attended all of the UT games, we would be saying the same thing.
