I heard the end of an interview with Josh on 104.5 in Nashville. I am not sure if it was a replay or not. SIAP

What I heard (some of this is already known):

  • Butch is a better recruiter than Dooley - Josh's words
  • Enjoyed his UGA visit
  • Looking forward to being Knoxville this weekend
  • Will make a decision after the season or after all of his visits

I also noticed that he is a well spoken young man.

While I know that 247 crystal ball predictions are idiotic, and know nothing, I still gotta like it when I see people giving us a chance.
The problem with the crystal ball is that a lot of the participants are just random reporters/bloggers who tag along with the latest trend and don't have any real reason to make a prediction.

If you just pay attention to the 247 national guys and the team site guys of the schools involved with that prospect, the crystal ball can be pretty helpful.

tennessee talent is getting bettee year after year. id say the fact josh didnt commit to georgia, says a lot about him and about where we are in his recruitment.

I would feel really good about Malone if one of the freshmen QBs finish the season and look at least average. I know Malone would only be here one season with Worley, but he needs to see that this offense can and will throw the ball.

Concerning Malone, this continues to be a Tennessee-Georgia battle and depending on who you talk to you usually get different answers on where he ends up. Some close to Georgia believe they gained a good amount of ground this past weekend while he was on his official visit in Athens, particularly with his parents.

Tennessee has been recruiting him hard since Butch Jones took over and that has continued all the way up to the official visit and that includes a very personal recruitment of Malone by Jones, who talks to the four-star, instate receiver numerous times during the week.

This is one of those races that, right now, is too close to call. It will be interesting to see what Malone says coming out of that visit not only concerning his time in Knoxville, but also about his plans moving forward.

Like the Vandy247 guy this past summer regarding Malone?

Josh Malone will be attendance at Neyland today as he watches the team he will play for a year from now. Which team will it be?

I'm betting a Dawg, but hoping a Vol!

A huge day for one of our WR's would be a nice advertisement
