If you want to talk about QB's and who Malone should play for. you can't really judge Georgia because Murray will not be the one throwing passes to Malone he will be holding a clipboard in the nfl by then. And who knows who will be the qb at Tennessee all we know is that it couldn't have gotten worse from the Florida game so that's a good sign at least

It was a video update from Woody Wommack and Malone.

-he's OV'ing to UGA this weekend. They play LSU, of course. Big time environment. His mom and dad will attend with him. He'll be looking at the QBs and WRs.

On UT: he likes the coaches, praised their hard work, talks to Coach Jones once a week, really seems to respect Butch. Malone said he has really been watching our WR group. He likes North as a player and said he could line up opposite of North.

On UT's QBs: "they're a work in progress".

Only talked about UT and UGA for the most part. Asked if he had any other plans for Clemson and he said not right now.

I think it's a 2 team race. Us and UGA. FSU and Clemson are really trailing IMO.

What does the UGA QB situation look like post Murray?

They got a kid in the '13 class in Brice Ramsey. Good mechanics. Live arm. And they have a guy in the '14 class in Jacob Park.

Ramsey was the #14 QB in the nation.
Park is the #5 QB in the nation and 76th player overall.

247 had/has both Ramsey and Park rated at 97 (highest 4 star rating).

The starter next year will be Hutson Mason, a 5th year senior who's been sitting behind Murray.

With Butch calling Malone personally and having Thig lead the charge, does it bode well for UT?

"I've been around some legendary recruiters. Thig loves it as much as any of them. He is damn good at it too. Excellent. As far as the HC calling, that almost par for the course when recruiting bigtime guys. It's a good thing to these kids bc the previous HC didn't do it for big time guys."

Sounds like Thig is the leading recruiter for Malone. He just gets it done on the recruiting trail so I love our chances to land Malone.

Reading Bucks post, I had a Young Guns/warren G flashback.

Every time I speak with him I am more impressed with the kind of kid he is. One of the most humble and grateful young men you could meet. That being said, he always talks about what he calls, "his boys in Georgia". He seems to feel comfortable there.

He's at the Georgia game today for a visit. (Sorry if this has already been posted).
