I actually think our defense will fare better with UGA. Depth may kill us, but Gurley is gonna be in the middle the whole game not much around the ends. Can we stop the man-child? I dunno, but I like the match up.

I don't think we do. Georgia's offense is very balanced… They can pound you with the running game, Murray can hurt you throwing it, and he can hurt you with his legs. It will take a massive effort from our defense and some good fortune to keep us in that game. Hopefully, we will have more rhythm with our offense by then and can score some points.

I agree with this. Given that synopsis, do you think we have a better chance with USCe?

We would have to play 6 levels above our talent to beat Ga.... we missed the best chance we will have to beat a team we shouldn't yesterday . JMHO

Perhaps one of the big games, something will bounce our way and we will pull it out. Here's to silver linings.

I don't think USCe offense is as talented and balanced as Georgia, but I don't think we match up that well with them either. With the speed we have on defense right now, any match-up against a team with a mobile QB is a bad one for us IMO. A mobile QB scares me to death. Also, Mike Davis is a thumper for SC and Wilds is no slouch. I think yesterday was our chance to pull an upset this year.

Not him, but I think SC is a bad matchup for us. Spread teams will run at will against us until we recruit speed on the outside.

Agree. Defending the zone read with this defense and the way we contain the edges can be a recipe for a long night. A lot of time though to coach these guys between now and then, and we have an off week before SC so hopefully that helps.

This. I'm going to their game next week vs LSU. What would be better for UT, a UGA loss or a UGA win?

I think a win to avoid them being pissed and not looking us over. Perhaps a trap game or complacent game. I'll be attending the UT UGA game as well.

Last time they beat LSU in Athens we came in the next week and beat them, after throwing 4 INT's the week before? Maybe history will repeat itself?

I still think we make a run after South Carolina and win out the rest of the schedule. That will create some nice momentum for 2014.

We're on track to lose all the games we were supposed to lose and we just need to win the wons we're supposed to win and finish the season happily with an 8-5 record after we win our bowl. Unless of course we eat the bones against Vandy or Missouri in which I will lose my mind.

I don't know where Malone is leaning right now, but UGA may have space issues down the line that could effect him. UGA is making a big push for OT David Sharpe and only has one spot left on the offensive side according to reports.

He may be leaning to UT anyway for all I know, but just something to consider.

Now that is being serious about winning, right there!

If you want to talk about QB's and who Malone should play for. you can't really judge Georgia because Murray will not be the one throwing passes to Malone he will be in the nfl by then. And who knows who will be the qb at Tennessee all we know is that it couldn't have gotten worse from the Florida game so that's a good sign at least

We will only have to play 3 levels above our talent to beat Georgia. Naturally, they will play 3 levels below their talent.
