I wonder what he thinks about UGA and Clemson given their QB's are seniors and he has no idea what the next generation will do before he has to commit.

I guess we hope he does not just look at them and say, "They throw it alot and do it well, so the next guy will be much the same".

And said he is watching how well we play this year. We need a big showing against UGA in front of him. He will see them the next two weeks. Hopefully they don't put on a show against us.

Because he lives in TN, has many friends on the team/current commits, he's been on UT's campus around 10x the last couple years (including 4x since Butch was hired), he sees immediate playing time which is one of his main wants, Thigpen is recruiting him, Butch is building something special in Knoxville and maybe he wants to be apart of that.

Clemson's QB is a senior and their OC is very likely gone for a HC job after this season. UGA will have a new QB next year as well.

I have to agree with this. Malone will want to go to a school who he has confidence in their ability to get him the ball. Right now we are not showing that. We really need to get one of the new QB's up to snuff and demonstrating that we are the future.

I actually think our defense will fare better with UGA. Depth may kill us, but Gurley is gonna be in the middle the whole game not much around the ends. Can we stop the man-child? I dunno, but I like the match up.

I think you're right, but he also knows that this year was a building year. I honestly believe our qb situation will work itself out and we'll begin to look like a team in November.

This. I'm going to their game next week vs LSU. What would be better for UT, a UGA loss or a UGA win?

I think a win to avoid them being pissed and not looking us over. Perhaps a trap game or complacent game. I'll be attending the UT UGA game as well.

Maybe Uga loss will be better for us. Maybe an lsu pounding lowers their confidence. Not sure we have a chance either way this season. Marshall and gurly are studs, nfl bound for sure.

We want it to be as long and grueling a game as possible. Georgia needs to be tired and limping when they come in here.
