A bad son-of-a-gun QB from Pearl-Cohn high school. At least that's how I choose to remember him from the state championship game. You wanna talk about a stacked roster. Buck (UT) at QB, Santonio Beard (Alabama) at RB, John Henderson (UT) at TE/DE, Reggie Ridley (UT) at the other DE.

I remember big John because my high school played his in basketball in post season play. John would just smack the backboard every time (literally goaltending every time) and we couldn't stop him. He wasn't the best player on that team though, Ron Slay was a sophomore and KILLED us.
