On the other side of the ball, the Raptors defense made life difficult for Eagles quarterback Caleb Hollis, sacking him eight times and intercepting him twice.

They also did a nice job of containing University of Tennessee commits Vic Wharton (six catches for 122 yards but no touchdowns) and Rashaan Gaulden (two catches for 26 yards and one score), whom Hester called two of the best athletes in the state.

“Those are two football players that I’ll enjoy watching on Saturdays,” he said.

Gaulden: "I don't know, 70 or thereabouts I guess.

Bates: "Already? Surely you can't be serious!?"

Gaulden: "I'm totally serious. And don't call me Shirley"

Kid is the REAL DEAL HOLYFIELD!!! Hard to see a whole lot tonight. He missed a few tackles here and there, but his athleticism just leaps up at you. He was still in on his fair share of plays, though. It was a tough game to judge too much of him, because they were never really in the game.

It amazes me how this guy is only a 3 star on ESPN. Not like it matters or anything but it's still laughable.

Last night Independence was over matched RG was on the field a lot. He made great form tackles and has underrated speed. He's a lot bigger in person then I realized and plays with a lot of heart very happy to have him.
