'14 TN DB Rashaan Gaulden (UT Signee 2/5/14)

Widely reported Gaulden had 35 tackles vs Beech

I know what's reported. My point was being made to the guy questioning that number and saying he only has 43 for the yr. I heard his name at least 25 times on the PA. The CSS guys, the PA guy, the stat guy and myself all saw 25+, so 35 is more than accurate. I've been to every Indy home game and he's had more than 43 in just those games.

I was there too. I heard his name called easily 25 times. It was legit. I know of one series where Beech ran 7 plays.. He had 6 tackles and defended pass. He was everywhere. Never seen anything like it.

Then why ask? FWIW I was not being a smarta$$.

Just sharing what I had read.

I also read that he had 32 tackles through first 2 games, so my guess is 32+35=67 tackles on the year.

Ummm pretty sure it was tweeted out by media members. So "widely reported" would be accurate.

And why in the world are posters trying to rain on a UT commit's proverbial parade anyways?

So I'm some kinda negavol because I simply set forth the official team stats? Wel then, if it somehow makes you happier, I know for a fact that he has 7,777,777,777 solo tackles in 4 games so far this year. See, I can do that too. GBO

Uhh..no. Miami is his #1 school. I know this kid personally. He's stated many times that the second Miami offers, he'll commit. Tennessee really doesn't have a chance here. He has no interest in playing for UT. I think Ole Miss might be #2, but I'm not sure.

wuddup moose!

GBO, Butch.

According to the stats on MaxPreps these are the tackle numbers for Rashann through 4 games

8/23 Kenwood 7 Solo 6 Assists = Total 13
8/30 Marshall Co. 4 Solo 2 Assists = Total 6
9/6 Summit 2 Solo 5 Assists Total = 7
9/13 Beech 20 Solo 10 Assists Total = 30

Through 4 games

33 Solo 23 Assists Total = 56

You take your documented facts and get out of here. It is getting in the way of a terrific arguement! :loco:

I didn't ask you anything. I asked state of the vols if the stats he saw were broken down or already accumulated. If they were broken down then I wanted to see what they had reported for the Beech game.

His tackle stats for the Beech game were 20 solo, 10 assists for 30 total. Far more than he had in the first 3 games combined.

Cam Sutton easily makes up for the Ramsey loss. Hell we may have gotten the better player.

I haven't seen much of FSU this season except for when Ramsey got his first INT. I really like Cam. Kid has instinct and is not afraid to hit. I love DBs that are not afraid to hit. Now I know why you get all jazz hands when talking about him :)

I agree as well.

I would still prefer Ramsey over Swafford at the other CB spot this wknd.

With Cam beastin' , look for Driskel to throw Swaffords way all game long.

Swafford has good coverage skills, he just needs to get his head turned quicker to find the ball. I am sure that Willie M. has been working with him on this.
