Wish I could. I don't have an opportunity to play college ball. :(

I'm on my phone, but this would be a PERFECT time for the Tombstone gif......."well, BYE!!!!!"

Hahaha!...yes!....And the crying anti-pollution Native American from 70s commercials...trust me. :boredom:

Victor Macho Harris, Dee Miliner, and a few others come to mind with this kid. Big strong hard nosed CB. Said a while back where he needed to be and this staff can see my vision for this young guy as well. His style of play on the corner is something we haven't had in YEARS literally.

As a Bears fan I'll throw out the name Charles "peanut" Tillman....a big physical corner who's VASTLY underrated in regard to cover skills.

Edit: the article someone posted earlier IMO insinuated that Gaulden wasnt as strong in one on one cover skills. I say if he doesn't let dude off the line of scrimmage by jamming his arse....then we won't have to worry about coverage now...will we?

I'm a Packers fan so I wouldn't disrespect the kid that much. :)

WAR!!!!!!

J/k

But serious...get Gaulden to 190lbs. I could very well see a Milliner, Tillman type player. Jam you at the line yet can turn and run. Peanut has always played Tampa 2. I've always wondered what he would do in a more aggressive scheme. If you look at his production against the megatons, Andre Johnson's of the world....Peanut is one of if not the most underrated, under appreciated players in the league. And yes, being a Bears fan has EVERYTHING TO DO with me feeling that way.

Check this out, D.Miliner was the same in HS. He played FS not CB. He also didn't like tackling. Funny how coaching a player can change how he plays. Farrell saying he's a FS is funny when you can clearly see he's built like a big strong CB. His closing speed and burst paired with long arms make for a big time CB prospect.

He has a little more of the Packers Tramond Williams in him than Tillman. IMO :) Fast physical CB who's helped lead his squad to a Super Bowl win. :)

Size wise I could see Milliner playing safety. But you wanna take advantage of his gifts. Safety size with CB skills= CB all day IMO. It's rare to find one with his size, yet all the attributes. Make him another good safety...or make him a once in a blue moon CB? Hmmm, decisions. Sometimes I think these "gurus" actually over think things. In comes a baddazz coach and the rest is history.

With Gaulden, I could see him being a good solid run of the mill safety. Or with coaching being a big physical shutdown corner (Milliner, Peanut). We've had some really good CBs on the hill. But it's been a while since we've had a guy that wouldn't let you get off the line of scrimmage and could physically take you out of the game. Brent Vinson had the ability but it never materialized. And with TK2 and McDowell over the top Gaulden will be able to be as aggressive as he wants at the point of attack knowing he's covered over the top. Big things happening on the hill.

The Seahawks CBs come to mind if I think physical. Browner in particular is absolutely ridiculous at times. But Gaulden is a bit faster IMO than Tillman(even when Tillman was younger). His burst is more suited for the position.

Tillman is deceptively fast. I think it was 4.49 was the last 40 time I saw. Either way...welcome to the hill Rashaun. Now if Barnett or the twins would commit, I'm gonna go out in the yard and bust a couple rounds in the air....in celebration.

Forced Fumble Wizard

Gaulden is someone to be really excited about. Going to bring a lot to our secondary. Speed and strength. the kid believes in himself, and will be playing for some coaches who will build him up and actually know how to coach. Coach Willy will love this one and mold him into a shutdown corner
