Seems there may be a few kids we are looking at in this "Goose Creek" area. This TE, a QB, and a RB I think.

TE Kalan Ritchie, and RB Caleb Kinlaw from Goose Creek HS. QB Jacob Park Stratford (Goose Creek).

Goose Creek had nine players sign LOI from Class of 2013, headlined by Mr Footballl SC Tramel Terry who enrolled early at UGA. Also DE Gerald Turner to SoCar,
LB Jalen Stevens to UConn and DT Mike Myers to East Carolina.

Last two classes, Goose Creek HS has sent OT Brandon Shell and LB Darian Sims to SoCarolina and LB TJ Burrell to Clemson.

This guy is going to Clemson or South Carolina.

Likely, but I wouldn't say he is a lock.

He had plans to commit to South Carolina at last week's junior day, but opted to visit Clemson and hold off on committing so he may evaluate other offers that will be coming this spring. Programs like Ohio St, LSU, and Bama makes regular stops thru Goose Creek during spring practices. I'm sure Jay Graham will also make a visit.

With limited numbers for 2014, South Carolina may only take one TE. I think South Carolina may have KC Crosby higher on their list, but if Kalan was to commit, I think he would be a take.

I believe Kalan will be camping at UT this summer, along with Caleb Kinlaw.

Caleb Kinlaw is very interested in Tennessee. Wonder if the vols can make a push through the GC area.

From what I've read it would likely be a who commits first deal between Crosby and Ritchie though they may take both since Crosby is more of an H-back while Ritchie would be closer to a true TE.

But yea the numbers with Carolina are tight. 6 open scholarships as of now. Expected to sign 15 max, which would take a ton of attrition.
