The big news this week as Tennessee grabbing a commitment from North Carolina cornerback Emmanuel Moseley. As we've said numerous times, Tennessee has seen this kid in person and field confident after his first few games on film that he could play in the SEC.

One other note is that Moseley is an early enrollee and takes academics very seriously as he already has over a dozen college credit hours to his name.

Just got off the phone with Manny before his first class this morning. His official will be for the Georgia game and he will be an early enrollee.

I came here to do some research after getting the text from VN...I thought maybe wed known of this guy, and I'd just overlooked the thread...but it looks like everyone else is just as in the dark as I am.

Are you referring to an automated text that gets sent out when recruits commit? If so, mind pointing me in the right direction to sign up?

You can set your Twitter account to text you when VN tweets. This is useful for breaking news, as most major stories and recruiting news get a tweet from VN, which otherwise mostly remains silent on Twitter.

Having this kid as an EE is huge for our secondary depth next year.

EDIT: Just realized Payne also is an EE. that means that if our freshmen play well in the spring, we could finally see a 3 deep at both cb and nickel that consists completely of players on scholarship.

Most f this guys will be ones Butch and Jancek brought in as well. Definite step in the right direction.

Crazy that it got to this point.

It is pretty well established that the cornholers were the best example of a chemically enhanced team in CFB in those years.

They also had an unusual number of 5th year players as well back then which had a lot to do with their success. Players don't want to stick around that long anymore, which was a factor in their decline for a period of time.
