'14 JUCO F Devonta Pollard

People interpret things differently, but I didn't take that article saying one can anticipate he'll recruit Pollard as saying, "Texas A&M working hard on him".

A&M wasn't recruiting him at all iirc, so very well could be their AD or president has said no to bringing him in. That wouldn't change by hiring an assistant coach, at least I wouldn't think.

A lot of speculation and Pollard is remaining Silent? Who knows at this point. I don't want to read anything into it, but I can assume that his name is floating around in Texas A&M circles and that Stansberry maybe the one recruiting him.

All this is assumption on my part, but the reporter had to hear it somewhere and I might be naive but it maybe more fact than I assume.

The working hard on him, I agree. He will be recruiting I got the feeling. Semi Puff piece of journalism...

Are they trying to get him to visit? I think he would fit this system perfectly!

My completely uneducated guess is they take Owens and Carmichael along with McKnight and McGhee and call it a day. That is unless Pops leaves. I could see us trying to get in with another grad transfer. I, personally, would love Pollard's skill set on this team.

@BSnowScout: Houston has added Devonta Pollard, he signed today. Signed with Alabama, and was at JUCO this past season. Former McDonald's All-American

Not surprising Sampson is the one that takes him. I don't blame him. His image is already staind so might as well win games
