Lambert has 25 tackles to go along with four sacks and three forced fumbles during that stretch, but even he's been playing banged up. "I feel like my game can be better," Lambert said. "I've been doing pretty good at stopping the run, but I want to get to the quarterback more. I want to pick my pass rush up just a little bit."
"I talk to them every week," Lambert said. "I got word that coach Stripling is coming to see me play this week. I'm excited to see him and I plan on showing him what he's going to be getting."
"They have been telling me they can't wait for me to get there," Lambert said. "They think I can come in and play right away. They want me to be that speed rush edge guy and they need someone that can get after the quarterback on third and long. They are losing several guys so it's key for me to come and play."
"I texted Jalen Hurd a few weeks ago," Lambert said. "I talked to Dominique Booth this past Sunday. It's good to hear from those guys. We are all excited about being leaders for our team and we have big roles coming in next year."
